Vito began working in Hollywood as a Camera Operator on the sitcoms “All in the Family”, “One Day at a Time” “The Jeffersons”, “Newhart”, “Married with Children” and “Murphy Brown” – where he won a co-starring role as Vito the Union Camera Operator. He also wrote an episode of “The Jeffersons” - Chairman of the Bored.
He worked as an Associate Director on the TV shows: “My Wife and Kids”, “Girlfriends”, “The Game” and “Soulman” to name a few.
He has Directed the sitcoms: “Girlfriends, “The Game” and “My Wife and Kids” – where he was nominated for Best Director in a Comedy Series.
He Produced and Directed the feature length film “Let Me Count the Ways” which one the NY International Film Festival Audience Award.
He has a web series “Vito’s Italian Cucina” entertainment cooking show with over 160 episodes on YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.
Vito is a Producer on the Feature Documentary “Con Safos Life in the Barrio”, which is currently receiving critical acclaim. He Co-Produced and Directed the video presentations of the Drone Chronicles.
For the past 3 seasons he is the Dolly Camera Operator on ABC’s hit comedy series, “The Conners”.
